I'm hoping for a sunny weekend and a chance to get out and enjoy the fresh air and lovely countryside. I like the change of seasons and the chance to cook with different vegetables and fruit at the different times of the year. This year we had a good crop of apples and I have enjoyed delicious plums, the potatoes were good and the shallots have been superb.
I know the city has shops and museums and art galleries but I love the countryside and the sea.
