My mother never liked November always finding the days just before Christmas difficult, cold and damp. I remember past Novembers as foggy and often the start of the icy weather. Recent Novembers have been wet and stormy, a subtle change in our own weather pattern.
The weekend news has mentioned the possible delays to the Copenhagen climate treaty and the Times today reports the following:
A British official said it was likely to take at least six months and "ideally no longer than a year" to agree details. After Copenhagen, the next meeting of environment ministers is in Mexico in December 2010.
Will it be too late?
