Yesterday had been a difficult day so I decided an evening drive to Roa Island was necessary, it's a place that always lifts my spirits.
It was my second trip of the day. I called in at Roa Island House in the morning to support Melissa and Wayne who were holding a coffee morning for the RNLI. It was well supported and the weather was perfect giving stunning views across to Piel Island.
Returning last night as I watched the sun setting over the horizon I reflected on the day and the changes to my life that are about start and the promise of a new dawn.
