I always used to give my elderly mother something to look forward to. Often it was a trip out to somewhere she hadn't been for a while or lunch at a nice restaurant.
Having something to look forward to is important for us all but I think even more so for the elderly who are often reliant on younger people to help them.
Now I have the pleasure of remembering some very happy times.
