Worked until after 2am this morning on my OU project and enjoyed trimming it down to the required 3000 words. It's a challenging task but I always feel very pleased with myself when I arrive at the required word count whilst still retaining all of the quality of the content.
Printed it all out again this morning and just have to make final adjustments and checks before sending in the final version.
Although I don't meet fellow students we do have an active online community. It was with great sadness yesterday that I read that the husband of one of the students had died after several weeks in hospital. She is determined to continue with her project and will be granted an extension under the circumstances.
The OU is a very special community of people to which I am privileged to belong.
